Police reported a fight held at the Ladbroke and when they arrived they had to drag Takayo out of the crowd and provide him with first aid. later he was transferred to the hospital but he died after arriving at the West London Hospital. There were other six people as well who were reported to be injured at the scene. As the murder case came up, police are still investigating the case and they reported that there were hundreds of people in the area at that time. Officers reported that for the past two days, the weather and the conditions were good around the carnival but the crime was unexpected. While police have also said that they are thoroughly investigating the case and will catch the culprit soon.

London Mayor Mr. Sadiq Khan said that there is no place for violence in the city and that they are doing every bit to safeguard the city from violence. He added that if anything suspicious is been noticed then the police or crime stoppers should be contacted immediately. On Tuesday after the murder was committed police officers were on duty and were checking every person to avoid violence. Over two days total of 441 people were stopped and checked and from that 209 were arrested which included 36 people in possession of drugs, 33 for possession of weapons, 27 for public order offenses, eight for sexual assault, and 46 for assaults. There were seven cases of stabbing recorded including the one with Takayo.
